Gurgaon police's decision to penalize BPO and cabs that provide unauthorized lifts has angered commuters, who say the terrible public transport system is not an alternative. Keeping in mind the many road robbery incidents reported in Gurgaon, the traffic police authorities here have decided to penalize private and BPO cab drivers who're known for providing lifts to stranded commuters at a nominal fee.
