As a foreigner now driving on the Delhi roads, my advice is--encourage all slow drivers to stick to the left lane. This will allow the faster traffic to travel in the right lanes. A good idea will be to establish a lane on the left for all motorbikes, autorickshaws and cycles.Their constant weaving into the wider lanes often causes congestion and frustration. Lane changing and straddling the white line are also a big problem here. In most countries, drivers stick to one lane; and if you are going to change lanes, you indicate 3 seconds before making the lane change rather than just pulling out dangerously .
